Enough about me, let me tell you a little bit about counselling:
Counselling is a highly effective intervention that can help people find relief and healing from emotional distress. Everyone experiences emotional distress at some time in their lives. Sometimes problems seem insoluble or keep recurring. Sometimes you may not even be sure how to define your difficulty. You may feel overwhelmed by feelings which you don’t understand and feel concerned that they are out of your control.
This is when talking through your feelings and/or situation in confidence with a trained counsellor can help you to understand yourself and/or your situation more , enabling you to find new ways of thinking and feeling. A counsellor will listen without judgement and help you to find your own pathway to change.
