Q Who is counselling for?
A Counselling is appropriate for anyone who is feeling stuck, or is feeling overwhelmed by their feelings which may be interfering with their ability to cope with everyday life or perhaps just people wanting to do some personal development. It is also appropriate for couples with a relationship issue.
Q How long will counselling last?
A This depends on you, the nature of your difficulties, the length of time you have been experiencing difficulties and what you want to achieve. This question will be discussed with you as part of the work. Some people come for short-term counselling , typically 6 – 12 sessions, others are looking for longer term support . You, the client are in control of how long you have counselling for.
Q Will counselling make me more dependant on others
A There are times in everyone’s life when they feel unable to face things on their own. This is normal. A period of counselling can help you to feel stronger, more resilient and better able to face life’s ups and downs.
Q How much does counselling cost?
A The cost for individual counselling is £55 for a 1 hour session. The cost for couple counselling is £70 for a 1 hour session. The fee is payable at the end of the session.
